Children are very welcome here at Galway Racecourse and are admitted free of charge. We have lots of entertainment for the younger racegoer, including bouncy castles, slides, face painting and much more. We also have a number of catering options for young families on site.

Betway has agreed a deal to sponsor three races at this year’s highly-anticipated week-long Galway Races Summer Festival, which kicks off on Monday 29th July.
The leading online bookmaker will sponsor the first three races on the sixth day of the prestigious meeting, known as Super Saturday, in what will be the firm’s first horse racing sponsorship in Ireland. The three races that open Saturday’s card will now be named; Betway Irish EBF Maiden, Betway Maiden and Betway Irish E.B.F. Nursery Handicap.
